It does keep my cold drinks really cold and my hot drinks hot for hours. I love that this comes with Two tops one for drinking out of the cup itself and one has a spout for drinking cold stuff out of. I use this bottle daily and I love it. I use it first thing in the morning for my water while exercising and I refill it when I run out of water . I fill it with water way more than I have to add ice because it holds the ice for so long. It fits in a standard cup holder in a car or truck witch makes it easy when on the go. It has no metal taste to it like most stainless steel bottles do.
